This blog was born from a burning desire to share with the world the lessons I’ve learned through following Christ and entrusting myself to his mother, Mary. They say when writing a blog that you should know the “niche” that you want to reach – a specific topic and/or specific people. I’ve waited to understand what my niche was, before finally giving up and beginning anyway.

What kind of lessons do I want to share? Lessons about trusting when things seem hopeless, finding God in the tiniest details and the cosmos, praying in spiritual darkness, living with and thriving with mental illness, healing, spiritual direction, building and nourishing relationships, servant leadership, weakness, sin and salvation, virtues and vices, wholeness, evangelization, mission, wellness, LIFE.

I’ll be listening in prayer to the Spirit, to life’s circumstances, to the reader. Let’s see where this fire takes us!
